Your Antivirus software may recognize the file as virus and Quarantine/Delete it as soon as u finish saving it.   

The file EICAR.COM is completely safe, its not a virus. It is a standard test file developed by the EUROPEAN INSTITUTE FOR COMPUTER ANTI-VIRUS RESEARCH (EICAR).
